ABB Systems Integrator ARC Specialties is a Preferred Partner System Integrator with ABB Flexible Automation. Click on photo for Real Player Video Clip The system shown here is a GMA welding cell with a double ended head and tailstock. This configuration allows the loader and the robot to work simultaneously. Coordinated servo control of the headstock allows us to position the part for all down hand welding. The cell is designed to weld a family of parts. Each fixture designed and build by ARC Specialties can handle multiple part configurations. Part fixtures are mounted using tooling pins to facilitate quick change from one part to another. ARC Specialties is able to provide turn key robotic solutions, including fixturing, software, process integration and training. In addition to GMA (Mig) we also build PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) with powder or wire fill, and GTA (Gas Tungsten Arc) with hot or cold wire fill. |
