The ARC-08P has a simplified control unit for automatic drill pipe hardbanding. The system automatically steps between bands with programmable a stop. It includes a complete GMAW welding package, headstock with 3-jaw chuck, controls, and cross slides. Tilting & Data-logging options are available.
The ARC-08PP comes with a touch screen interface, a mounted goose-neck trailer, a simplified control unit with stored welding parameters, a 500 amp diesel power supply, 20 KW auxiliary power, and an on-board hydraulic power unit. With stored parameters and automatic step-between bands, the operator positions the torch at the start and puts the system in cycle. The system automatically stops once it reaches the programmed number of beads.
The ARC-08T has a simplified control unit for automatic tool joint hardbanding. The system automatically steps between bands with programmable a stop. It includes a complete GMAW welding package, headstock and tail stack, controls, cross slides. Induction heating option available.
Small job shops struggling with the budget, programming, and space requirements of traditional welding robots now have an alternative solution: The new SnapWeld Collaborative Robot Welding package developed by Arc Specialties Inc. and Universal Robots is a cobot-assisted, interactive welding system that can be deployed easily and flexibly in existing, manual welding booths, eliminating the need for costly new robotic cells.
